Starting Wednesday of next week, April 6th, New York State will begin a repaving project on 9J which includes Main Street in the Village. The first step is milling (scraping) the road and that will begin Wednesday. 9J/Main Street will be brought down to a single lane of traffic and there will be no parking on the side of the street that is being milled. Temporary parking has been set up on First Street behind the Noyes Engine House, salt shed, and DPW equipment garage. There will be parking signs posted Tuesday. Further parking is available at Sacred Heart Church. There are also 3 Village parking lots where you can park: next to the new Poke Jar, across from the post office (do not park in the reserved spots) or behind Village hall.
